We want you to choose the right fit for
your dog. For launch, Charlo Apparel Company (“Charlo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
offers size exchanges only. We do not accept standard returns or offer refunds,
subject to any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
1. Size Exchanges
You may request a size exchange within 14
days of receiving your order.
Exchanges are available for a different
size of the same item only and are subject to inventory availability.
2. Exchange Eligibility
To be eligible for a size exchange, the
item must:
· be unworn, unused and unwashed;
· have all original tags
attached;
· include the original packaging;
and
· be free from dog hair, odour,
stains, damage and any other signs of wear or use.
Items that do not meet these conditions
will not be eligible for exchange.
3. Exchange Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for the return
shipping costs associated with a standard size exchange. Original shipping
charges are non-refundable.
Any shipping charges applicable to sending
the replacement item will be communicated as part of the exchange process
before the exchange is completed.
4. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items
Defective, damaged or incorrectly fulfilled
items are handled separately from standard size exchanges.
If you receive an item that is defective,
damaged or different from what you ordered, please contact
admin@charloapparel.com as soon as possible with your order number and details
of the issue. We may request photographs or other information to assess the
issue.
Where Charlo confirms that an item was
defective, damaged in transit or incorrectly fulfilled, Charlo will cover the
reasonable shipping costs associated with resolving the issue, as appropriate.
5. How to Request an Exchange
To request a size exchange, email
admin@charloapparel.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include
your order number and the size you would like to receive.
Please do not send an item back before
receiving exchange instructions from Charlo.
6. Availability
All exchanges are subject to product and
size availability. If the requested replacement size is unavailable, please
contact us so we can advise you of the options available in the circumstances.

The body is 100% cotton French terry — a knit with soft loopback on the inside and a smooth, clean face outside. It sits soft against the dog's coat and skin, with no synthetic cling or static. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified, which means it's been tested for harmful substances at every stage of production. Nothing on it that shouldn't be near skin.
380 GSM, Built to Hold Its Shape
At 380 GSM, this is a mid-heavyweight knit — substantial enough to drape properly and keep its structure instead of going limp after a week. The cuffs and hem are finished with matching 100% cotton ribbing that stretches and recovers, so the openings stay put and the hoodie keeps its shape through wear. Soft inside, structured outside, tailored rather than baggy.

FAQs
How do I choose the right size?
Size by your dog's chest, not their length. Chest girth is what decides whether the hoodie goes on comfortably; back length can run slightly short or long and still work. Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and match it to the chest girth on our size guide.
Due to differences in breed proportions, fit may vary. If your dog has a broader chest, we recommend sizing up. Keep in mind your dog’s fur length and haircut can affect how they fill out the hoodie, so factor their coat into sizing for the best fit.
How do I care for it?
Cold wash, hang to dry, low iron if needed. The 100% cotton French terry keeps its softness and shape through regular washing — no need to baby it, but skip the hot dryer to keep the structure and the ribbing doing their job
Can I use the hoodie with a harness?
Yes — it's built for it. The harness goes on first, the hoodie goes over top, and the leash clips up through a hole in the back. No bunching, no taking the hoodie off at the door. Harness underneath, leash out the top, ready to go.
